My paintings are inspired by forms remembered and half imagined from both the natural and man made worlds – as much evocation as representation.

In my work I focus on fragmented forms through pattern, texture and colour. I enjoy exploring the magical effects of fading light at twilight: when whites become ultra violet, greens turn to blue and lime and red becomes, purple and magenta.
